Archives on Food, Culture and Nutrition (AFOCUN) is a multilingual online journal dedicated to the study of food from social and cultural perspectives.
It is an international publication that fosters multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary reflection on food, providing a space where researchers from different social and cultural fields can share their perspectives on food as an essential element of human life.
The journal is open access, peer-reviewed, and published twice a year.
It is supported by the International Commission on the Anthropology of Food and Nutrition (ICAF), an international network of academic researchers interested in food from social and cultural perspectives. In addition, it is published by the University of Extremadura (Spain) through its Publications Service.
